Job Details Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Start Date: September 8, 2026 End Date: December 8, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Shifts Per Week: 3 Hours Per Week: 36 Orientation: 72 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Patient Population: Adults Setting: High-acuity critical care unit Job Requirements Current RN license in hand at time of submission 2 years of ICU experience required, with recent and consistent acute care experience in the specialty Epic charting experience required ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Travel nursing experience required Strong experience caring for critically ill adult patients in an ICU setting Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit Monitor and manage complex conditions such as sepsis, shock, stroke, ARDS, and intracranial hypertension Perform and support critical care procedures, including ventilator management, CRRT, and vasopressor titration Assist with EVD management and ICP monitoring Administer blood products and support massive transfusion protocols Manage tracheostomy care, suctioning, and advanced respiratory support therapies Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, coordinated patient care Float as needed to other ICU or related inpatient units based on staffing needs Apply now for this Travel SICU Registered Nurse opportunity in Columbus, Ohio and take the next step in your critical care nursing career.
