Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040 Location: Columbus, Ohio Start Date: 8/10/2026 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Shift Pattern: Night shift, 3x12s (19:00 - 07:30) Patient Population: Adult patients Patient Ratio: 1:2 Charting System: Epic Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of current ICU or critical care RN experience required Recent acute care experience in the specialty within the last 12 months required Prior travel nurse experience required Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required Epic charting experience required Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program Oncology experience preferred, but not required Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the SICU setting Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition, including complex hemodynamic and neurologic status Manage patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, septic shock, hemorrhagic shock, hypovolemic shock, ARDS, pneumonia, stroke, craniotomy recovery, intracranial hypertension, and delirium Care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, heated high-flow therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy management, and vasopressor titration Support specialized interventions including external ventricular drain management, ICP monitoring, CRRT, and massive transfusion protocols Administer blood products, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, and cardiac or vasoactive drips as appropriate Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, physical therapy, social services, and rapid response teams May float to James MICU or UH MICU/SICU and may also float to M/S or PCU units based on patient care needs Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Columbus, Ohio.
