Location: WellMed at Medical District / 1412 May St, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Pay Rate: $19/hr (Paid Weekly)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Contract: 10/12/2026 to 01/08/2027
Allmed Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance and 401(k)
Dress Code: Business casual; no jeans; closed-toe shoes required
Interview: 1-round, in-person panel interview with 2–3 interviewers

Position Overview

The Associate Patient Care Coordinator provides administrative and patient support within a medical office setting, with a primary focus on managing inbound patient calls . This position is responsible for gathering detailed information, accurately documenting calls in the medical record, and routing information to the appropriate team or department based on the nature of the request.

The role also supports scheduling, insurance verification, chart preparation, and appointment confirmation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and manage inbound patient calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Obtain detailed information from patients and accurately document notes in the medical record.
• Route documented patient information to the appropriate team or department based on the nature of the call.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Perform insurance verification as needed.
• Assist with chart preparation prior to patient appointments.
• Make appointment confirmation calls.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the medical record.
• Provide professional and courteous service to patients throughout each interaction.
• Perform other administrative and patient support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and efficiently.
• Ability to accurately capture and communicate patient information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a healthcare office environment.
• No professional license or certification required.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at WellMed at Medical District and involves frequent interaction with patients by phone and coordination with the medical office team. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing multiple administrative responsibilities while maintaining accurate patient documentation.
