PSR Phone Operator – WellMed
Location: WellMed / UHG
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Interview: In Person
We are seeking a PSR Phone Operator to join the WellMed/UHG team! This is a great opportunity for a healthcare professional who enjoys helping patients and keeping clinic operations running smoothly.
As a PSR Phone Operator , you'll be an important first point of contact for patients, providing friendly and professional support while ensuring calls are handled efficiently.
What You'll Do
Answer and assist with incoming patient calls
Schedule appointments and provide basic assistance with patient questions
Take and accurately relay messages to providers and clinic staff
Direct calls to the appropriate department or team member
Help maintain efficient call flow and a positive patient experience
What We're Looking For
2+ years of healthcare experience
Familiarity with medical terminology
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional, patient-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple calls and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Dress Code: Khaki, blue, or black slacks with blue, gray, or black tops/scrubsNo license or certification required.
