Cost Accounting Manager

Cost Accounting Manager Responsibilities of the Cost Accounting Manager: Own plant level cost accounting processes supporting two manufacturing operations Manage month end cost close activities, ensuring accuracy, discipline, and consistency Prepare inventory related calculations, including FIFO costing, reserves, capitalized variances, and budget comparisons Set standards and expectations around reconciliations, accruals, and fixed asset accounting tied to manufacturing Serve as the finance partner to plant leadership and engineering on production costing and BOM accuracy Determine inventory control efforts, including cycle counts and valuation integrity Review, interpret, and communicate manufacturing cost results and trends to broader finance leadership Qualifications of the Cost Accounting Manager: 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA or CMA credentials are valued but not required Salary: $105,000 to $125,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr Institute of Management Accountants, Inc.
