The restaurant’s light-filled interior, with crisp linens, flickering candles, and whitewashed brick, provides an elegant backdrop for Rose’s vibrant interpretation of French cuisine. Balancing the timeless traditions of French gastronomy with a distinctly modern spirit, Le Coucou has established itself as one of New York City’s top dining destinations, earning a Michelin star for seven consecutive years.
We are now seeking an accomplished Maître D' to be a welcoming and polished ambassador for Le Coucou, playing a central role in shaping the guest experience through gracious hospitality, impeccable attention to detail, and a genuine warmth that reflects the spirit of the restaurant.This position offers a comprehensive package including:

Desired Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as Maître D', lead host, or experience in a leadership role in a fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurant
- Experience with Resy or OpenTable reservation systems is a MUST
- Poise and precision, with a natural inclination toward warmth and gracious hospitality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to convey warmth to guests as they walk into the restaurant while being able to clearly articulate reservation details while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm
