We are seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Restaurant Manager to join our opening leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, leading service, developing team members, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced fine dining environment, and leads by example with professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to excellence. Position Summary

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless front-of-house operations while maintaining Ludico's exceptional standards of hospitality and service. This role works closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Maître D', Chef de Cuisine, and Executive Chef to deliver an outstanding dining experience while supporting team development and operational excellence.

The Restaurant Manager serves as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts and is responsible for leading service, coaching employees, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Guest Experience & Service Leadership

• Lead front-of-house operations during service while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards.
• Maintain a visible presence on the dining room floor, engaging with guests and supporting the service team.
• Build relationships with guests, recognize returning clientele, and create memorable dining experiences.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally while ensuring effective service recovery.
• Ensure every guest receives warm, personalized, and attentive service.
• Support VIP experiences, special events, and private dining functions.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, appearance, and hospitality throughout the restaurant.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members during every shift.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate service expectations.
• Reinforce company policies, service standards, and operational procedures.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Support performance management initiatives and employee recognition programs.
• Lead by example and create a positive, respectful work environment.

Restaurant Operations

• Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations throughout each shift.
• Support scheduling, staffing, and labor management initiatives.
• Monitor service flow, table turns, and floor coverage to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
• Assist with inventory management of front-of-house supplies and operational needs.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
• Ensure all opening, closing, and side work duties are completed properly.
• Assist with implementing company initiatives, promotions, and operational improvements.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with daily operational priorities.

Food Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and company policies.
• Promote safe food handling and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Monitor cleanliness and sanitation throughout all guest-facing areas.
• Ensure team members comply with safety standards, uniform guidelines, and service procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns and operational issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in an upscale, high-volume, or fine dining restaurant.
• Proven success leading front-of-house teams in a hospitality-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards and guest relations.
• Experience with SevenRooms, Resy, OpenTable, and Toast POS preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while making sound operational decisions.
• Professional appearance, polished demeanor, and strong leadership presence.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Must have the ability to frequently move throughout multiple levels of the restaurant, including going up and down stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
