Now Hiring: Forklift Operator

Location: Northwest area of Houston
Pay: $20.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Overtime & Weekends: Mandatory as needed
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Openwork is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a manufacturing operation in Houston, TX. We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused candidate with strong forklift and material-handling experience who is interested in a long-term opportunity.

This position supports production by unloading raw materials, moving materials throughout the facility, and loading finished products for shipment.

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products
• Transfer lumber and materials to production areas
• Stage materials according to production and delivery schedules
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Check for leaks, tire wear, and equipment safety concerns
• Safely handle and change propane cylinders
• Coordinate with supervisors and production teams
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Assist with additional material-handling and production duties as needed

• 2+ years of forklift operating experience required
• Manufacturing, warehouse, loading/unloading, or material-handling experience preferred
• Experience safely loading and unloading materials
• Knowledge of basic forklift inspections
• Experience with propane forklifts preferred
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Basic communication skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team

Regular schedule is MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM .

Mandatory overtime and weekend work may be required based on company and production needs.
