American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with 3+ years of OR experience and Level I/II trauma background for a Level 1 Trauma Center OR position.

Details:

• Level 1 Trauma Center with 45 operating rooms
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 0645-1915, with occasional float to 0845 and 1045 starts
• Weekday schedule varies weekly based on staffing needs
• Must work 3 night shifts per assignment
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• On-call required, up to 3 call shifts within an 8-week schedule period
• Must be willing to float within scope to like units as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years overall OR experience required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma level experience required
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• BLS certification required
• DORA certification required, license required if applicable
• Experience in gynecology, plastics, neuro surgery, trauma, general surgery, urology, and ENT procedures preferred

Additional Information:

• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates within the last two years will not be considered
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
• RTO is not permitted during specified blackout periods including early September, late October to early November, late November to early December, and late December to early January
• Blocked scheduling requests are not permitted
• Completion of all facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible for the local bill rate
