Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapeutic strategies to help them meet their goals.
• Implement Effective Interventions: Apply evidence-informed practices to support the development of motor skills, cognitive function, and everyday living tasks.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques to promote sustained progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment approaches to ensure they remain on the path to success.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Support for ongoing education and advanced certifications is readily available

Licensure

• Current active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
