PCU/Tele Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a night shift position, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCU/Tele Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a progressive care unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients with complex needs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments.
Monitor patients' vitals and respond to changes in condition.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
Manage and care for patients with central lines, chest tubes, and monitors.
Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.

Required Experience and Certifications

Minimum of 1 year of Nursing experience, specifically in a PCU or Telemetry setting.
Active RN license in Pennsylvania or Compact license.
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Experience with charting systems, preferably Cerner.
