Night Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 18:30 to 07:00

Job Description

The CT Technologist participates in various assigned tasks related to imaging technology, performing diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. The position focuses on outpatient care and requires both GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
• Administer contrast media as needed and start peripheral IVs.
• Utilize GE and Toshiba equipment effectively for imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Follow radiation safety protocols in accordance with industry standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies.
• Must hold a valid license from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging in radiography and CT.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient imaging experience required.
• Epic charting experience is a strict requirement.
• Knowledge of various imaging procedures such as biopsies, CTA, and other relevant practices.
