CT Technologist - Outpatient Focus

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday to Sunday.

This position involves participating in various assigned tasks related to imaging technology, specifically in computerized tomography. The CT Technologist performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner while adhering to guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures related to outpatient services.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met in accordance with ARRT guidelines.
• Administer contrast media when necessary and prepare patients for procedures.
• Maintain and manage imaging equipment effectively.
• Document imaging results accurately in the charting system (Epic experience required).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduate from an approved imaging technology program.
• Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
• Licensed in CT by the OBMI or registered in CT by the ARRT.
• BLS certification from the AHA within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience, including IV skills.
• Proficiency with GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging machines.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a must.
