Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer for a leading energy and utilities client. This engineer will help build and maintain modern Azure data solutions that support critical business and operational functions tied to the electric grid and energy market. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Azure Data Engineer with strong recent experience developing enterprise data pipelines using PySpark and Azure Data Factory. This role will own the full data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, curation, and provisioning of data used across the organization. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work on meaningful, large-scale data initiatives that support critical infrastructure, renewable energy growth, and the modernization of energy systems serving millions of people. The position maintains the compelling mission-driven aspects of MISO's technology organization while focusing specifically on enterprise Azure data engineering rather than application development.
