Janitor- 2nd Shift

Responsibilities Shift: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm; occasional every other weekend. Provide a clean and healthy work environment, cleaning, sanitizing, and performing general upkeep of lunchrooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, office, and surrounding areas. Remove trash and operate sanitation equipment such as floor scrubbers. Assist in other areas as needed. Adhere to safe work practices, GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions, and support SQF Level 3 certification. Communicate professionally with customers, clients, co-workers, and management; maintain a positive work atmosphere. Accountable for a safe and healthy workplace; follow safety policies and procedures. Ensure regulatory compliance at all times; report any conditions that could affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications No prior experience or training required. Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers; print and speak simple sentences. Basic math skills: add/subtract two-digit numbers, multiply/divide by tens and hundreds; perform operations using units of American money and weight, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense to follow oral instructions and handle problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations. Strong attention to detail. Basic mechanical skills. Knowledge of GMPs, sanitation procedures, and chemical safety. Pay Range: $18.36 to $21.16 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
