Job Summary (Senior Program Manager)




- Provide senior-level program and project management services..
- Develop, maintain, and refine detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures.
- Lead and facilitate meetings, document outcomes, and present internal and external status reports.
- Oversee project budgets, financial management, and perform cost analysis and cost-benefit analysis.
- Utilize risk management techniques including risk tracking, mitigation, and issue tracking.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and documentation.
- Use Microsoft Project or similar software for project tracking and maintenance.
- Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects within schedule, technical specifications, and budget.
- Manage project oversight, including Independent Verification and Validation activities.
- Allocate resources and coordinate interactions between customers, users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Ensure project artifacts maintain integrity and quality by following PMI standard practices.
- Conduct research and analysis for system improvements and enhancements.
- Gather user requirements and develop screen layouts for new or existing systems.
- Prepare work estimates for system development or enhancements.
- Coordinate and oversee system acceptance testing with program offices.
- Develop project documentation such as diagrams and flowcharts.
- Submit all required documentation and reports to the Department Contract Manager as requested.
