Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon 11:00 PM - 08:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 08:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 08:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 08:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Staff the front desk and manage visitor reception, check-in, credential verification, and access-control processes in accordance with site requirements. Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures. Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and front-desk records while supporting a professional experience at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Minimum Requirements Have at least two years of security-related experience. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
