Director of Finance & Accounting

Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 + Bonus Company Description Our private equity-backed consumer products company is seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will play a central role in FP&A, forecasting, and investor reporting across a multi-brand portfolio. The ideal candidate must have strong FP&A experience, advanced financial modeling skills, and the ability to build and manage large, complex Excel-based reporting tools. High-visibility role Exposure to private equity investors Casual, collaborative work environment Responsibilities Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including actual-to-budget and variance analysis Own the annual budgeting process and rolling reforecasts in coordination with executive leadership Conduct trend, profitability, and ratio analysis across multiple brands, channels, and departments Build and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow model to support liquidity planning and capital allocation decisions Develop and maintain complex 3-statement financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis Prepare board-level reporting packages and supporting materials for executive presentations Support debt covenant compliance reporting and prepare borrowing base certificates for lending partners Partner with the CFO on materials used in investor and bank communications Oversee key operating metrics reporting, including sales, e-commerce performance, margins, and inventory Support select accounting functions such as month-end accrual analysis and cost capitalization Collaborate with the accounting team on inventory-related analysis and reconciliations Drive process improvements to streamline and simplify existing financial reporting tools Support broader financial planning (AOP) processes and working capital analysis Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Strong FP&A experience, ideally within a consumer products environment Advanced financial modeling skills, including 3-statement modeling Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience with Power Query and large, complex workbooks Experience preparing board, lender, or investor-facing reporting materials Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities in a lean team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Conexus
