Construction Office Administrator/Operations Assistant

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Construction Office Administrator & Operational Assstant to join our growing team. This role is essential to maintaining efficient office operations and supporting construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of (3) years experience working in the commercial and residential construction industry. Experience in the insurance restoration industry helpful. If you do not have experience IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY please do not apply. Responsibilities: Work directly with project managers, sub contractors, suppliers and industry professionals to communicate, coodinate and facilitate in assisting the process from start to finish of commercial and residential construction projects. Pull appropriate permits and stay current with regulatory changes and requirements. Manage workflow from processing permits, handling change orders, or RFI's. Managing human resources inclusive of hiring, onboarding, record keeping and regulatory compliance. Maintain company certifications, licenses, training and compliance Invoicing and accounting for each project. Perform all other general office administrative tasks. Qualifications: Must have at least 3 years previous experience in the construction industry as an administrator or office manager interacting with construction managers, contractors and superintendents Be proficient with one of these construction software programs - Builder Trend - Sage - Procore Be proficient with basic booking keeping duties and basic accounting Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel Quick Books knowledge a plus Field construction experience a plus but not required Familiarity with project estimating a plus but not required Familiarity with reading plans helpful but not required Experience with Insurance Restoration and interacting with Public Adjusters helpful but not required Company Description As a parent company of our two construction companies we are poised for growth as a company with a great reputation within our various industries and continue to make a difference in our community.
