3750- Parts Inventory Specialist FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range: Hourly Reports to: Yard Manager Summary/objective Job Description The Parts Inventory Specialists is responsible for accurately and efficiently maintain the company's inventory database of used auto parts. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Enter new and used auto parts into the inventory database Update existing parts information in the database as needed Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data entered into the system Perform regular audits of the database to identify and correct any errors Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information to complete data entry tasks Respond to customer inquiries regarding inventory availability Perform other related duties as assigned Competencies Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to navigate inventory management systems Ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations Physical demands Ability to stand for long periods of time Travel required N/A Required education and experience High School Diploma or Equivalent 12 years of experience in parts sales and/or data entry Preferred education and experience Experience in the automotive industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
