Job Title: Valve Technician (Industrial Maintenance / Repair)

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8–12 hour shifts (flexible based on workload)

Valve Technician – Must-Have Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with tools and equipment
• Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial environments
• Ability to travel occasionally to job sites
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Steel-toe boots required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work flexible hours based on workload

Valve Technician – Position Summary

The Valve Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining industrial valves and related equipment in both shop and field environments. This role supports maintenance operations by ensuring valves function properly and meet performance standards. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to grow in mechanical and industrial service work.

Valve Technician – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial valves and components
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble valves using proper procedures
• Assist with pressure testing and performance verification
• Support shop technicians with repair and maintenance tasks
• Travel to job sites to assist with field service work as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Document completed work and assist with job tracking
• Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently

Valve Technician – Additional Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, valve repair, or mechanical assembly preferred
• Experience with valves, pumps, actuators, or similar systems is a plus
• TWIC Card preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Oil & gas, refinery, or industrial plant experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in the role

* Install, inspect and test electric meters, relays, and power sources to detect causes of malfunctions and inaccuracies, using hand tools and testing equipment.
* Test valves and regulators for leaks and accurate temperature and pressure settings, using precision testing equipment.
