Position Overview

We are looking for reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as  Remote Billing Specialists . In this entry-level remote position, you will assist with processing invoices, maintaining accurate billing records, reviewing account information, and responding to routine billing inquiries. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates interested in billing, finance, accounting, and administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter invoices, billing information, and account updates accurately
  

• Review billing records and documentation for errors or discrepancies
  

• Maintain accurate customer and account records
  

• Prepare and organize invoices and billing-related documents
  

• Communicate with customers regarding routine billing questions
  

• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment tracking
  

• Verify billing information and ensure required documentation is complete
  

• Update billing systems and spreadsheets as needed
  

• Assist with resolving basic billing discrepancies and account issues
  

• Follow established billing procedures, policies, and deadlines
  

• Maintain confidentiality when handling customer and financial information
  

• Escalate complex billing issues to the appropriate team member
  

Requirements

• Basic computer and data-entry skills
  

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  

• Good written and verbal communication skills
  

• Basic math and organizational skills
  

• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
  

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  

• Reliable internet connection and suitable remote-work environment
  

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a remote team
  

• Previous billing, accounting, bookkeeping, customer service, or administrative experience is helpful but  not required
  

• Willingness to learn billing systems and company procedures
  

Compensation & Benefits

• $29–$44 per hour , based on experience, responsibilities, and qualifications
