RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour shifts on weekend nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
• Resource Pool position covering ALL Medical/Surgical, Stepdown, and Telemetry units
• Patient ratios: 1:3 for Stepdown units and 1:6 for Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units
• Each unit accommodates up to 34 beds
• Must wear Royal Blue scrubs
• Epic charting system experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience and travel experience preferred
• Must be well-rounded and strong in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General medicine, and Oncology
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• BSN degree not required
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Coverage includes multiple specialized units: Medical/Surgical, Stepdown, Trauma & General Surgery, Ortho Neuro, Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring, Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Long-term antibiotic infusion
• Driver's license address must be outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Can only be submitted to one position at a time across the entire health system

This major academic medical center serves as a Level 1 trauma facility providing comprehensive acute care services. The facility operates multiple specialized inpatient units including medical/surgical, stepdown, telemetry, neurology, orthopedics, trauma surgery, and oncology departments. The hospital utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains high standards for patient care across its diverse range of medical specialties and surgical services.
