Construction Safety Intern - AECOM Hunt

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Safety Intern to be based in Cleveland OH.

This position is expected to begin in Summer 2027.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities requiring the application of standard techniques procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must be pursuing a bachelors degree in Occupational Safety Construction Management Civil Engineering and/or similar discipline and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelors degree and plan to continue with the masters degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelors degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Part of an SH&E related program at school.
• Experience working for a large general contractor.
• Previous relevant internship experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word Excel and Outlook) as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
