-Work schedules will becreated in 6-week blocks following the 3 weeks of training/orientation.

-Depending on the needs of theclinic, you can expect a shift to be between 7-10 hours during clinic operatinghours.

-A typical work week will betwo or three weekdays and every other weekend.

-This position also requiresworking on some major holidays.

Position Summary

As a Registered Nurse, youwill utilize advanced clinical expertise to deliver high-quality,evidence-based patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs,administering treatments and medications, collaborating with interdisciplinaryteams, and advocating for patients. Your critical thinking and clinicalknowledge will help support improved patient outcomes and enhance healthcaredelivery.

REQUIRED Qualifications

Previous experience in PrimaryCare, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room. (Nurses whose experience is primarily inlong-term care settings such as nursing homes, home health, LTACs, and skillednursing facilities may encounter challenges adapting to the MinuteClinicenvironment. DO NOT submit candidates whose background is limited to theseareas.)

Experience with phlebotomy,vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.

Minimum of one-year relatedwork experience in a healthcare setting.

Proficiency with electronicmedical record (EMR) systems; Epic experience preferred.

Duties

You will:

Administer oral, injectable,intravenous, and topical medications.

Evaluate complex patientconditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses.

Apply advanced knowledge ofvital sign monitoring to identify and record abnormalities in blood pressure,heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature.

Perform routine assessments tomonitor patient health and ensure overall well-being.

Manage patient access tohealthcare and connect individuals with community resources for medicationadministration, self-care techniques, and disease management.

Conduct medication reviews toidentify potential side effects and drug interactions.

Develop and administer mentalhealth assessments to screen for depression and evaluate mood, behavior, andcognitive function.

Accurately document patientmedical historyincluding illnesses, medications, allergies, surgeries, andfamily historyusing electronic health records.

Use your excellentcommunication skills to interact with patients, families and other healthcareprofessionals

Keep an organized, wellstocked, clean clinic at all times.
