Human Resource Officer

Kresta Holdings Ltdis a household name and is a leading retailer in Australia and New Zealand.We provide a stunning range of custom-made curtains, blinds, shutters, awnings and a wide range of decorator accessories. We currently have more than 20 stores located throughout QLD, NSW, WA, VIC, ACT and New Zealand. We are seeking a motivated person to join our team in Malaga (WA)head office. This role would suit someone with some HR experience and relevant tertiary qualifications. You must be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, have great communication skills and be able to work autonomously as well as in a team. The main responsibilities of the role will include: Assisting with human resource management and industrial relations Updating all HR policies and procedures Assisting with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, interviews and issuing employment contracts Ensuring all business units are legislative compliant with Workplace Relations Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Equal Opportunity Act and other related legislations Providing advice and information to managers regarding employment standards and awards, policies and procedures, employee performance and disciplinary matters Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and sick leaves Properly handling complaints and grievance procedures Providing support with injury management and worker’s compensation Delivery of ad-hoc and general administrative duties when required Be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment, along with the ability to self-motivate in independent work Be a trustworthy person Requirements: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills HR Certificate preferred Good problem-solving skills Fluency in English and Mandarin would be an advantage You must be an Australian citizen or resident and have full rights to work in Australia. #J-18808-Ljbffr
