Front Desk Medical Receptionist: Patient Care & Scheduling

Riverhead Orthopedics is seeking a Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance in the EMR, collect co-pays, and route messages to physicians and nurses. This full-time front desk role requires knowledge of medical terminology, experience with insurance authorization/referrals, EMR familiarity, strong communication, multitasking, and meticulous attention to detail.
