Job Description Position: Security Officer Campus Patrol (Greencastle, IN) Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue – 03:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Wed – 03:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Thu – 03:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Fri – 03:00 PM – 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and help to support established property rules and after-hours access procedures. Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activities, and notable property conditions, and relay relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
