The Roll Services Product Manager serves as Triosim's technical and commercial leader for roll services, connecting customers, field sales, engineering, and operations to drive profitable growth. Leveraging deep industry expertise, this individual works directly with customers to identify challenges, develop solutions, and improve roll performance, reliability, and asset life. Partnering closely with the sales team, the Product Manager helps create and advance opportunities, provides technical credibility throughout the sales process, and guides projects from initial discovery through execution and account growth. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to customers, a technical coach to the sales organization, and a champion for business growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Serve as Triosim's recognized technical authority for roll services, maintaining deep expertise in roll design, repair, coverings, coatings, grinding, balancing, performance optimization, failure analysis, and industry best practices.
• Partner with the sales team in the field to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities. Provide technical credibility during customer interactions and help position Triosim's solutions to address complex operational and reliability challenges.

• Develop and deliver technical and commercial training programs that equip sales personnel to identify opportunities, diagnose customer challenges, communicate value, and effectively position Triosim's roll service capabilities.
• Support the Site Leader with the development of quotations, proposals, and technical recommendations by providing application expertise, scope definition, technical specifications, and market awareness to ensure solutions are competitive, executable, and profitable.
• Collaborate with the Site Leader on gotomarket strategy for the roll services product line: which customer segments to prioritize, which competitive accounts to pursue, how to position the product's value proposition, and what capabilities the shop needs to develop to win more work.
• Develop customerfacing technical content including presentations, case studies, application guides, inspection reports, capability overviews, and solution recommendations that support both business development and customer retention efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects, serving as a trusted advisor for roll maintenance strategies, performance improvements, failure investigations, repair decisions, and longterm asset management planning.
• Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, emerging technologies, and competitive developments affecting roll services, providing actionable market intelligence and strategic recommendations to Triosim leadership.
• Support onboarding of new customers through technical presentations, site visits, inspections, capability demonstrations, and early project support that establish confidence in Triosim's expertise and service capabilities.
• Identify service, technology, and capability gaps within the roll services business and work with operational leadership to develop plans that strengthen Triosim's technical capabilities and competitive position.
• Leverage Triosim's network of facilities, technical resources, and manufacturing capabilities to deliver the best customer solution while maximizing opportunities across the organization.
• Participate in industry associations, conferences, trade shows, and technical forums to strengthen Triosim's market presence and reputation as a trusted roll service and reliability partner.
• Analyze competitive wins and losses to identify market trends, strengthen value propositions, improve sales effectiveness, and increase future opportunity conversion rates.
• Serve as the voice of the customer within Triosim, identifying operational challenges, reliability improvement opportunities, and emerging market needs while partnering with sales to create opportunities, expand customer relationships, and drive profitable growth.
POSITION TYPE / HOURS

Full-time, Exempt. Travel-intensive role with schedule flexibility required to align with sales team activity and customer availability. Hours vary based on customer engagement cycles and active commercial opportunities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• 7+ years of experience with roll applications and services in a technical, commercial, or engineering capacity — deep product knowledge is the foundational requirement of this role.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and nontechnical audiences including plant engineers, maintenance managers, and purchasing decisionmakers.
• Experience working alongside or within a sales organization; comfort in customerfacing commercial conversations, creating and delivering training, as well as the ability to serve as a credible technical counterpart to the sales team.
• Working knowledge of the industrial markets Triosim serves; pulp and paper, mining, food processing, or comparable heavy industries.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, OEM specifications, and repair standards relevant to the product category.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage and align with multiple customer and internal relationships simultaneously while maintaining responsiveness and followthrough.
• Genuine technical passion for the product category; the Product Manager must care about the product capabilities to stay current, and continuously seek to know more.
• Ability to seek and receive coaching feedback, adapt and respond to changes, and embrace learning opportunities to continuously improve performance.
• High level of personal ownership and accountability in driving outcomes and results through persistence, competitive spirit, and execution.
• Strong presence in the field; comfortable spending the majority of working time traveling and engaging with customers, and able to represent Triosim with professionalism and confidence in any customer environment.
• Collaborative partner to the Site Leader and the sales organization.
• Honest and direct communicator; surfaces market feedback, competitive threats, and capability gaps without filtering or delay.
