RN - Med/Surg Telemetry Resource Pool

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting as part of a resource pool
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing environment
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms
• Flexibility to work nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a float or resource pool capacity
• ACLS certification
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
