Full Time Mechanic

Comers Concrete is a small, family-owned concrete company serving statewide DOT contracts across Utah. We're looking for an experienced, skilled full-time Mechanic to join our Salt Lake City team. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and inspections on company vehicles and equipment to meet safety and operational standards Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on mixer trucks, batch plants, dump trucks, transport trucks, Gomaco equipment, and more Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and other systems Monitor equipment performance and flag potential issues before they cause downtime Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs — parts used, hours worked, services performed Coordinate with management to keep spare parts and materials stocked Work with the team to schedule maintenance around operations Follow all safety regulations and help maintain a safe worksite Qualifications Proven mechanic experience, ideally with heavy machinery — mixer trucks, batch plants, dump trucks, transport trucks, Gomaco equipment Strong mechanical aptitude across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Comfortable with industry-standard diagnostic tools and software Solid grasp of equipment safety procedures Self-motivated with strong time management Sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail Clear communicator, able to work well with the team Valid driver's license with a clean record (company service truck and tools provided) Additional Information Why Comers Concrete Join a crew that values hard work and expertise.
