Hotel General Manager JobDescription A hotel general manager directs all property operations,balancing guest satisfaction with financial profitability. They manage andoversee all departments like the front office, housekeeping, maintenance, andfood service, while reporting to ownership and above property leadership whilemaintaining brand quality guidelines. Core Responsibilities OperationsOversight : Coordinate daily activities across all departments toensure smooth service. FinancialManagement : Oversee all aspects of labor control, manage P&L,control costs, and drive revenue. Proper reporting of all revenue, keepclean and accurate AR and AP accounts. StaffLeadership : Train, mentor, and review department managers and staff. GuestRelations : Inspect property conditions, build action plans, maintainbrand standards, and resolve escalated guest complaints. Safety& Compliance : Ensure the property meets all local health, safety,and security laws. BrandCompliance : Maintain all brand reporting, track, maintain and improveguest satisfaction metrics. Ensure all staff follow all policies andprocedures. HotelOperations : Maintain and improve all hotel operations, including allstaff, property and guest relations. Leading the hotel by example, produceyear over year positive gains both in brand metrics and hotelprofitability. Qualifications & Requirements Experience :3 to 5 years of progressive hospitality management or supervisoryexperience. Skills :Strong financial literacy, multi-tasking abilities, leadership, andcustomer service orientation.
