Develops contracts through all phases ensuring stakeholders and suppliers are involved throughout the process and supports the project to completion. Job Responsibilities and Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions to minimize risk to the organization, while involving key stakeholders through the finalization of contracts. Helps measure and monitor cost-reduction opportunities, at a system-level, through contract development and modifications in utilization Perform contract management and maintenance including amendments, extension of terms, and product additions and removals. Builds effective working relationships with suppliers and customers. Incorporates the appropriate feedback and perspectives to improve outcomes, resolve issues and enhance processes. Coordinates legal and excluded provider reviews per legal and corporate guidelines. Generates and supports cost reduction ideas and initiatives through collaboration with analytics. Creates effective relationships and timely communications with vendors, end-users and supply chain colleagues across the organization. Facilitation of communicating relevant information such as contract updates, category strategies, and educational opportunities Develops knowledge of product and service needs and on-going market developments related to assigned areas. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education Experience One years experience Physical Requirements Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing.
