Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Laredo, TX. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms, ensuring alignment with each client’s brand voice and marketing objectives. Daily tasks include developing content calendars, writing posts and captions, optimizing content for engagement, monitoring channel performance, and responding to audience interactions in a timely, professional manner. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with account managers and creative staff to execute campaigns, track key metrics, and adjust strategies based on analytics and client feedback. The role also involves staying current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to continually enhance campaign effectiveness. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to plan and execute effective campaigns across multiple platforms. Candidates should possess solid Content Strategy capabilities to develop calendars, align messaging with brand goals, and support broader marketing initiatives. Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills for crafting clear, engaging posts and collaborating with internal teams and clients. Relevant experience managing business or agency social media accounts, including use of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok, LinkedIn, X) is beneficial. Familiarity with basic graphic design or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) and scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines are important.
