Radiation Therapist

Job Title: Radiation Therapist Address: Reed City, MI Job Description: Perform routine radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Maintain and complete electronic treatment records daily. Calculate doses accurately and charge correctly at the point of service. Simulate basic treatment fields using 3-D planning and collect relevant simulation data. Identify educational needs of patients and implement appropriate teaching strategies. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of supplies and equipment in treatment areas. Assist with department opening, machine warm-ups, and crash cart checks when required. Critical Information Shift: Days, variable hours 8:00-4:30 or 9:30-5:30, sometimes later depending on patient census Remote/on-site/hybrid: On-site Environment: Medical radiation treatment department Compliance/submission notes: Must submit timesheets timely via VNDLY; failure to do so may impact payment.
