Small Engine Technician

About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on maintenance technician to keep our fleet vehicles and field equipment running reliably across our service operations. This role covers a mix of vehicle maintenance and small engine/equipment repair - pressure washers, generators, work vehicles, and other equipment our field technicians depend on daily. It's a great fit for someone who is mechanically versatile, enjoys variety in their work, and wants room to grow with a company expanding into new markets.What You Will DoPerform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet equipmentDiagnose, repair, and maintain small engines used in field operations (pressure washers, generators, and similar equipment)Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to catch issues before they cause downtimeCoordinate with field technicians and operations staff to schedule repairs with minimal disruption to service routesMaintain repair logs, maintenance schedules, and parts/inventory recordsOrder parts and manage vendor/shop relationships for repairs beyond in-house capabilitySupport DOT compliance and safety standards for the vehicle fleetFlag equipment or vehicles nearing end-of-life or needing replacementWhat We Are Looking ForProven experience with vehicle maintenance/light mechanical repair (trucks or fleet vehicles preferred)Experience repairing small gas/diesel engines (pressure washers, generators, or similar equipment)Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across different types of equipmentAbility to work independently and manage your own repair prioritiesComfortable using hand and power tools; own basic tools a plusValid driver's license with a clean driving recordReliable, detail-oriented, and safety-mindedNice to HaveASE certification(s) or small engine certifications (Briggs & Stratton, Honda, Kohler, etc.)Prior experience maintaining a commercial or service-fleet vehicle lineupExperience in field services, facilities, or commercial cleaning environmentsGrowth OpportunityThis role is based in San Antonio with the potential to relocate to our Dallas-Fort Worth location as operations there grow.
