About the Role Edlin Gallagher Huie + Blum is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attorney to join our California-based team. This role offers location flexibility (you can be based anywhere in the United States) and work arrangements (onsite, hybrid, or remote). The role provides opportunities to practice in multiple areas of law with hands-on litigation and trial experience. About Edlin Gallagher Huie + Blum EGHB is a growing firm of defense lawyers offering flexible work arrangements and locations throughout California. We serve as outside counsel for businesses, insurance companies, and the public sector, with deep trial experience to win motions and defense verdicts. This position offers the opportunity to handle all aspects of pre-trial and trial work across a range of complex litigation matters, including but not limited to: Business Litigation Employment Law Mediation Product Liability Toxic Tort Trucking and Transportation Responsibilities The Attorney will manage a caseload independently, develop case strategies, conduct discovery, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court proceedings. This role requires a strong understanding of California civil procedure and evidence rules, and excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. The Attorney will supervise staff and collaborate with other attorneys to successfully complete assignments. What We Are Looking For Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California. 2+ years of extensive litigation experience with a proven track record from inception through trial. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills. Ability to supervise staff and collaborate with other attorneys. Willingness to travel to depositions, collect records, or file documents with courts as needed.
