Product Owner III - Customer Data Management

As a Product Owner III within PNC’s Balance Sheet Analytics & Modeling Customer Data Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH or Chicago, IL. This position requires time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Job Responsibilities Meet with customers to gather requirements Document overall business requirements for MDM/DOR/EDS technologies MDM/DOR Data Storage requirements EDS/CQRS API Create, Maintain and Retrieval requirements KAFKA Data Sync and Business Event requirements EDS Batch Ingestion Framework requirements Expected System Behaviors including Data Validations & Controls, Survivorship & Restriction Frameworks, Party Merge, Derivations, Data Retention, Data History, and Error Logging Present business requirements to cross-program, collaborative delivery group Implementation and Agile Responsibilities Manage the requirements backlog Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demo reviews and approvals, refinement, etc. Document and approve PNC Change Methodology requirements in Clarizen & Change Navigator (e.g., Business Solutions Doc, Review/Approval of Testing Documentation) Preferred Skills and Experience Strong technical acumen, including understanding of API integrations, batch file ingestion, and Kafka data services Familiarity with Customer Data Management and data quality practices Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Change Navigator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint Advanced communication skills with ability to process complex technical design discussions and translate them into business-friendly documentation and presentations Confidence presenting technical requirements to audiences ranging from business leaders to technology design and development experts Comfort receiving live questions about technical and/or business processes and responding with expertise or providing necessary follow‑up actions and communications to deliver accurate answers Exceptional organizational skills and experience working with multiple Agile teams simultaneously Experience with Change @PNC Methodology requirements, including Change Navigator administration, understanding of the project lifecycle, writing strong business requirements and acceptance criteria in JIRA, and awareness of 1LOD and 2LOD risk management engagement guidelines PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position Job Description Owns the vision and definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the Customer. Ensures the Scrum Team(s) effort is concentrated on the right priorities based on business value. Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to ensure a successful product for business objectives. Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog. Works closely with the Scrum Master(s) and development team(s), to ensure the right items are focused on during the development process. Primary point of contact for questions from the team(s) and is empowered to make decisions. Education Bachelor’s degree Certifications No required certification Licenses No required license Pay Transparency Base salary range from sixty‑five thousand dollars to one hundred twenty‑one thousand dollars. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
