- Licensure and certification required: Georgia SLP license with CCC-SLP; AHA BLS

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside Speech Language Pathology evaluation and treatment for adult inpatients across medical and surgical services, including ICU when appropriate, following physician orders
- Assess and treat swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and communication/cognitive-communication deficits; document findings and progress in the medical record
- Manage dysphagia interventions; apply MBS/FEES proficiency as available (preferred but not required)
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, monitor patient response, and adjust goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in daily rounds, discharge planning, and patient/family education to facilitate safe transitions of care

Requirements
- Active Georgia State License for Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP certification
- AHA BLS certification
- 15–18 months of recent experience within the acute care specialty
- Experience with adult inpatients across medical/surgical diagnoses; prior acute care experience is desirable
- Ability to work in a hospital setting, collaborate with diverse teams, and adapt to varying shift patterns
- Willingness to work the specified schedule and, as required, major/minor holidays
