Job Description
Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Speech Therapy

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, varying days

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 weekly

Requirements:
- Minimum of 15-18 months of recent experience in the specialty
- Required: AHA BLS certification
- Georgia License for SLP & CCC-SLP
- Prior acute care experience preferred
- Proficiency in MBS/FEES is a plus, but not required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and treatment to acute care patients based on physician orders.
- Support a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological issues, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document therapy sessions and patient progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
