Job Title: Janitorial Worker Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Janitorial Workers at rest areas. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in bathrooms and walkways, emptying trash cans, picking up trash, and ensuring a sanitary environment for visitors. During winter months, responsibilities will also include snow removal from sidewalks.
Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms and walkways thoroughly.
• Empty trash cans and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Pick up and dispose of trash in and around the rest areas.
• Sanitize surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
• Remove snow from sidewalks during the winter season.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in cleaning, janitorial tasks, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
• At least 1 year of previous cleaning experience.
• Good customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is a 24/7 operation at rest areas with shifts available in Manassas East and West Bound locations. Shifts include both day and evening hours, with work required on holidays and weekends according to the schedule. The role offers $16/hour along with holiday pay.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfax, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
