Position Overview

Join our dedicated team as a highly skilled and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . In this role, you will utilize the latest ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a close-knit group of clinicians, and contribute to the well-being of patients through accurate and compassionate imaging care.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear, compassionate explanations
• Partner with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Operate and maintain imaging technology, addressing malfunctions as needed
• Keep meticulous documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on emerging trends in ultrasound imaging techniques and clinical practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in a variety of sonographic imaging techniques and adept at patient positioning
