Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary students in a life skills or similar setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach and commitment to supporting students with diverse abilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and deliver specialized instruction for students with diverse learning needs in a life skills classroom
- Implement IEPs and monitor student progress, making data-driven instructional decisions
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
- Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other specialist staff to support student success
- Collaborate with families and guardians to ensure open communication and alignment of goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with policies and procedures
