Position Title: Middle School Math/Science Teacher Location: The Muraqaba School, Frisco, TX Position Type: Full-Time | Academic Year 2026–2027 Reports To: Principal Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Middle School Math/Science Teacher who serves as a Murabbi — a mentor and guide who cultivates the hearts and minds of students. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between empirical observation and spiritual reflection, helping students master advanced mathematical and scientific concepts while recognizing the signs of Allah (swt) within the universe. Key Responsibilities Integrated STEM Instruction: Deliver rigorous, high-quality instruction in Middle School Mathematics and Science rooted in an Islamic worldview. Spiritual Integration: Weave themes of Tawhid and God-consciousness into scientific inquiry and mathematical logic, fostering a deeper appreciation for the Creator’s design. Character Development: Implement behavior strategies based on Prophetic guidance, fostering self-regulation, accountability, and kindness among middle schoolers. Collaborative Curriculum Design: Work closely with the Qur’anic Arabic and Islamic Studies faculty to ensure interdisciplinary alignment with the school vision. Student Growth: Assess academic and spiritual progress, providing consistent feedback to parents and maintaining an intellectually rigorous yet nurturing classroom. Community Contribution: Participate in school events, spiritual retreats, and professional development focused on Islamic pedagogy and Muraqaba principles. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field. Experience: Prior experience teaching middle school students; Islamic school experience is preferred. Spirituality: Strong understanding of Islamic worldview, adab of teaching, and student tarbiyah. Skills: Proficiency in classroom management for middle school, differentiated instruction, and educational technology. Passion: A deep love for working with youth and a commitment to cultivating their best selves.
