Utilize advanced tools for efficient audit management.Job DescriptionAudit Manager OverviewThe Audit Manager will oversee financial statement audits, reviews, and accounting engagements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Lead and mentor assurance staff, providing guidance on complex financial issues and procedural standards.Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met efficiently.Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional service and address their financial reporting needs.Utilize advanced software tools like ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Office, and XCM for effective audit management.Participate in career advisory programs to support team development and growth.Contribute to business development initiatives, leveraging expertise to attract and retain clients.Ensure compliance with procedural standards and regulatory requirements in all engagements.Audit Manager Key Responsibilities & DutiesPerform detailed reviews of financial statement audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Examine and analyze accounting records and financial reports to assess compliance with standards.Schedule personnel, monitor budgets, and ensure timely completion of engagements.Supervise and lead assurance associates, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.Act as a resource for assurance staff, addressing specific financial statement issues.Participate in firm-wide career advisory programs to support professional development.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.Utilize advanced software tools for efficient audit and assurance processes.Audit Manager Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA certification mandatory.Minimum of 7 years of audit experience in public accounting; 10 years preferred.Proficiency in ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Office, and XCM software.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple engagements effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and teams.Experience in business development initiatives preferred.Tax experience is a plus but not mandatory.Highly motivated with a proven track record of managing client engagements.
