Registered Nurse - Psych/Behavioral Health

This is a 19:00 to 07:30 shift position, with guaranteed weekly hours of 36. Candidates must be available for every other weekend and may be required to work flexible hours as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Psych/Behavioral Health to join our nursing team. This role involves caring for patients with various psychiatric conditions and requires strong communication and patient assessment skills. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist in crisis intervention and support patients in managing their conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current unencumbered RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) to be completed within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric health care.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
