We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who wants the opportunity to help establish a strong therapy program while delivering individualized, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Be part of Blue Stone Therapy’s expansion into the Milwaukee area Help build a new skilled nursing therapy program from the ground up Help shape team culture and patient experience from day one Collaborative interdisciplinary rehabilitation team Supportive PT/PTA collaboration Opportunities for professional growth and program development Competitive benefits for eligible employees What You’ll Do Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Carry out individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional performance Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, activities, and mobility training Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniques Monitor and communicate patient progress, response to treatment, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards Contribute to the development and success of a new therapy program through teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care Requirements Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure in Wisconsin What Will Help You Succeed Strong clinical and patient care skills Excellent communication and patient education abilities Passion for helping patients improve mobility and achieve meaningful functional outcomes Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary care team Positive attitude and desire to help build a new therapy team Skilled nursing, post-acute, or geriatric experience is helpful but not required About Blue Stone Therapy Since 2009, Blue Stone Therapy has partnered with skilled nursing and senior living communities throughout the Midwest to deliver high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.
