Responsibilities Mental Health Associate-Weekend shift(Bessemer Location) Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. This position is for our Bessemer Group Home. Our treatment services range from intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. Our RISE and Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care programs for boys are the only programs of their kind in the State of Alabama. Qualifications Bachelors or Associates degree in psychology, social work, education, criminal justice, or other related mental health field preferred, but not required. Detailed and organized with strong documentation skills Able to safely monitor residents and perform physical management techniques and crisis intervention. Experience in a residential mental/behavioral health setting strongly preferred. Must be 19 years or older, and have a successful drug screen and background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check).
