About the Role:
Budget Blinds of Wilmington is looking for a skilled and dependable Blinds and Shutters Installer to join our growing team in Wilmington, NC! This is a hands-on role where you'll bring beautiful window treatments to life in customers' homes and businesses — making a real difference in how people experience their spaces every day.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, fit, and install a variety of window treatments including blinds, shutters, shades, and drapery
- Conduct in-home installations with professionalism and attention to detail
- Ensure all products are installed correctly, level, and functioning properly before leaving a job site
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain installation process and address any questions or concerns
- Inspect and troubleshoot existing window treatments for repairs or adjustments
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in clean and working order
- Coordinate with the office team to manage daily installation schedules efficiently
Requirements:
- Prior experience in window treatment installation, carpentry, or a related trade preferred
- Strong measuring and math skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various home and commercial environments
