Banquet Server

Job Opportunity at Plantation Golf & Country Club

Assists and performs all tasks associated with high volume facility presetting, serving, and resetting rooms where food service activities are performed.

Prepares high-quality beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to order upon request.

Proficiently take orders and serve members/guests according to Plantation Golf & Country Club standards and all local and state legal guidelines.

Monitors members and their guests to ensure safety.

Assists members with menu knowledge, specials and features.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One + years experience as a Banquet Server in a country club, upscale hotel, or free-standing lounge environment.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during the entire shift.
• Ability to push, pull or otherwise move portable bar units from storage area to functional areas.
• Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Certifications: "TIPS" or equivalent responsible vendor training, ServSafe training.
